MEMORANDUM TO: Frank Wright, Director of Credit and Collections FROM: Michelle Jarvis, Sr. Cash Applications Clerk DATE: March 4, 2015 SUBJECT: Proposal to Incorporate Recycling Into the Workplace Attached is my proposal to incorporate recycling into the workplace. Developing a recycling plan is a great idea for the company. Recycling will also open up future opportunities for the business from a â€Å"go green† standpoint. Consumers appreciate a company that is eco-friendly and we can be one of those companies. Recycling betters the environment, as well as the economy, and simply makes the people that recycle feel better about their life decisions. In today’s day of age it is crucial to be â€Å"green† in the workplace and in life in general. Many frown upon the idea of individuals and business not living a â€Å"green lifestyle† but it is my goal to change the direction of the workplace around. The need for recycling is overwhelmingly evident for the company. Employees are faced with the difficult obstacle of knowingly putting recyclables in the garbage currently. This is a difficult decision for most and an unfortunate offering to the environment. Recycling in the workplace can be the next great step for the company.
